Hi everyone!

I know it’s been a while and I’m sorry about that 😦 I’ve been super busy with work, editing my new upcoming book and crocheting.

Work is so busy right now and that’s a good thing, it keeps me out of trouble ha! Actually I love being busy so I am truly enjoying the fact that its so incredibly busy right now.

Also, I am in the process of editing my new book!! It comes out in May of this year!! I’m so excited for everyone to read it, I can’t begin to tell you. It’s called A Journey Home (thanks to Deb for the title).
It’s about Stephanie Tyler who’s job is to go overseas and pick up the bodies of fallen soldiers and bring them back home to the US. The trips become dangerous and she is forced to have a partner go on the missions with her. Much to her surprise and dismay she is partnered with her ex husband Captain ‘D.A.’ – Douglas Aston. Everything about D.A. irritates Stephanie but that could have something to do with the fact he slept with her best friend, Alex, while they were married. D.A. Denies anything ever happening between him and Alex but Stephanie won’t believe anything he says.

This is a contemporary romance story that has some serious moments as well as some rather funny moments. I really enjoyed these characters and I was sad when I finished writing the book because I was going to miss them. Yes I was going to miss characters in a book, it can happen 🙂 However, now I get to spend time with them again as I go through the editing process and that makes me happy 🙂
I can’t wait for you to meet these characters! I hope you will like them as much as I do 🙂

Oh, crocheting you ask. Ah yes my new obsession! I always thought crocheting was super difficult but then my friend Melanie showed me how it was done and now I can’t get enough!! I follow blogs (Attic24 I’m looking at you) I read articles and when I’m not working or editing I’m crocheting. Right now my little nephew is very sick – he just has a cold but for a 4 and a half year old boy that is the equivalent of a horrible disease, he couldn’t even undo his seatbelt the other day because “it is just too hard and I’m too sick” (you may insert eye roll here I did). Anyway, he asked me to make him a blanket and of course I cannot say no to him. Therefore I have begun a new project that I hope he will love. I got the pattern for this blanket off of the Attic24 blog, you can see it here. Once I figure out how to attach photos on here I will upload one for you to see 🙂

Anyway I am off to get some editing done and of course my reward is to crochet 🙂 Hope you all have a great Family Day! Yes it is a real holiday here in Canada I promise 😉
